Battle Robot Found
I went to the local Goodwill store and scored! I rummaged through the one dollar toy grab bags and found this Iron Man action figure in a bag with a couple other super hero figures. I gave the other figures to the young master and set about planning the customizing of the figure.
I am debating on whether to base it or not, whether to add more armaments or just keep the ones it has and what sort of paint scheme to use. I will probably keep it mostly generic so I can use it across a range of adversaries.

What a cool find!
It's hard to see from the pic: how big is it?
I'd go bronze...
The robot is about seven inches tall so about 37/42 feet tall in 25/28mm scale. A 28mm figure on a slota base comes to just below its knee. It will tower over 25/28mm figure but i would say that is what you want from your Terrifying Giant Robot of Death Dealing. I may have to copyright that.

Definitely a robot? Or might you consider vehicle-ising it? A porthole in the middle of its chest?
Just a thought...
It will be a walker more than likely and not an automation. I can see three crew. Pilot/commander,Gunner and Engineer. I am thinking of adding a Boiler and smoke stacks to the back, a couple access hatches and a commanders hatch on top of the head, along with some weapons.
It is still all smoke and whimsey at the moment.
